Desk Booking: Desk release
Free up space throughout the day with desk release!
Desk release allows your users to free up a desk for someone else’s same day use. Users can also change their desk same day—even if they’ve already checked in.
This feature should be live on your dashboard in the next couple of days. Check out this preview to learn about how it works!
Desk Booking and Team Safety: Daily attendee slack notification
Encourage office attendance by using Slack to notify your team about who’s going to be at the office:
Pro tip: Use Slack to setup notification channels so you can see when new visitor and employee reservations are created. Use the command “/eden setup invites” in the relevant channel to get started.
Visitor Management: SMS notifications for hosts
Ensure your guests aren’t left waiting with SMS (text) notifications to hosts when a guest checks in:
Note: SMS is available to Scale and Enterprise Visitor Management clients. Today we support US-based numbers, but if you’d like us to support additional phone numbers, just let us know!
Team Safety: COVID document uploads on mobile
Users can now upload their COVID documents directly on the Eden Workplace native app:
Use the Eden Workplace app to upload and manage COVID-19 health document uploads. This feature is supported on both iOS and Android devices. Download our app on the App Store or Play Store.
Desk Booking, Room Scheduling, Visitor Management, Team Safety, and Internal Ticketing: User exports and imports
Keep track of your users with user export and mass update user records with a CSV upload.
Admins can now export users and update multiple user records in the "Manage Users" settings. With the mass update of user records, admins can update employee profile information as well as the employee’s wellness survey status and reservation eligibility status.

Your product feedback helps drive our roadmap—below are some the projects in development that you can expect to see in the product in June:
- Notify employees when a package arrives on site with Eden’s new package deliveries product—schedule a demo with our team to learn more
- Book a drop-in reservation on the mobile app
- If do not require employees to check-in, hide the check-in button from the dashboard
- QR code check-in on the iPad kiosk for visitor and employee check ins
- Updated Teams integration that includes ways for users to book a desk, create a ticket, and invite a guest
